AJ and The Queen (qui trovate il trailer dello show) è una serie televisiva di Netflix creata da LuPaul e Michael Patrick King che è stata pubblicata il lo scorso 10 gennaio 2020. La realizzazione, composta da 10 episodi, racconta la storia di una drag queen che, dopo una truffa, si ritrova a fare una tournée negli Stati Uniti in compagnia di AJ, una bambina molto furba. Purtroppo, in base a delle notizie trapelate qualche ora fa, abbiamo delle brutte novità.

Difatti, come è stato confermato dallo stesso RuPaul tramite un tweet apposito, l’opera è stata cancellata dopo solo una stagione. Il cantante, attore e personaggio televisivo ha scritto che “ci troviamo di fronte alla fine della strada per AJ and The Queen. Grazie per tutto l’amore e il supporto. Siamo molto orgogliosi del risultato”. Come in molti casi, anche la serie ha incontrato l’eliminazione e ci auguriamo che venga riproposta in futuro, magari da un’altra parte.
